Bah Not a fan of an increase on the scale. Insignificant amount but up nonetheless. Other than an increase in stress/cortisol I've been vigilant about food intake and intentional movement. Will simply have to trust the process, carry on doing what I've been doing and eventually the last 30lbs will go.
Need to remind myself to celebrate the wins. A year ago on March 1 I started this journey at 264lbs. Health metrics, mobility, quality of life are all infinitely better now and am very much looking forward to working in the yard in the months to come. Aside from the physical movement it provides, the work feeds my soul, provides a calm space and in a way is my form of meditation.
John's first oncology appointment is today. There remains the underlying worry about the journey ahead for him/us and I need to find a way to let the fretting go. Back to "give me the grace to accept the things I cannot change".

You are doing awesome!! Very motivated. Hubby has to have chemo every 3 weeks now. Plus he has labs drawn 2 days before each treatment. Very challenging. Sending a prayer for John and YOU.

Hi Ann!! 1st day of Spring tomorrow, which means we'll be in our gardens SOON!! I've been spending some time in my yard digging out the weeds that are always the first to appear. The ground is still pretty frozen so it turns out to be a real heart pumping workout LoL but alas, even with the added activity my weight has been climbing.
Sending you hugs. You know we're all here for you to help you get through your trying times!
