I have discovered that when I most crave carbs and sweets is just before the scale moves to a lower number. So hang in there and get ready for good news tomorrow.

Try replacing things. Like, instead of a chocolate shake, try cocoa powder, banana, almond milk smoothie. Instead of potato chips, try veggie straw chips. You can look up online all kinds of amazing tasty replacements. You’re gold, you can do this. Just keep trudging forward and you will overcome anything.

Yep, when I feel like everything else is in free-fall I have to be really careful not to use food as a crutch.

It’s so true...but we know that depression sucks us in and we have to remember to not listen to it. You are loved and not alone. People care about you and want the best! We’re here for you love ❤️

My diet turns OMAD when I have the blues. I will lay in bed without moving - like I don't have a pulse - I won't eat the whole day. But then the next day, I will order in and smash the whole thing. Then continue the cycle for 2-3 days. I take anti-depressants off label for a physical medical condition (lower dosage for that medical condition) since there isn't approved treatment available. But I have upped the dosage myself (not recommended) to what I know is the dose they give those suffering from depression when I feel down and I find, I don't fall into that pattern. Of course - don't do what I did and ask you doctor about it. The medicine is amitryptyline.
