It's a blip. That's why I hate weighing myself daily. You're doing great, it'll pass. BTW, I'd kill to be your weight :)

Thank you. I know I shouldn’t weigh daily but I often can’t help myself. I also know I need to focus on the big picture, which means acknowledging the hard work I have done to lose +/- 20 pounds. It’s just hard to continue working hard and see the number on the scale not reflect that effort. I’ll flip this mindset and hope for better tomorrow!

I can't help myself either. I do it, I just don't mark it down. And luckily, at my age, I forget the number almost as fast as it disappears off the scale, lol. Also, I see you're down to those last few pounds. I've noticed others saying how hard the last 5lbs are to come off. It seems as if our bodies want those last few to hold on to for prosperity sake. UGH!

Yes, I keep reevaluating my weight loss and setting new, small goals as I achieve one. I was so close to this goal a couple of weeks ago but now I just can’t get back there. It’s really frustrating but honestly I know how to fix it...I just have to DO it. Also, as awful as my memory is, the number on the scale seems to stick without effort....sometimes I wish I could forget!

Keep in mind too that weight is a number. It gives some incite as to the “shape” you are in but is not the whole picture. Muscle mass, skeletal frame, bone density and water retention are are factors as well. It’s better to go by how you feel than the number on the scale. The feeling of accomplishment after a work out is usually much better than looking at a scale (especially if you had a glass of water and your up half a pound). You may also be building muscle at the same time which will add weight and it more than you might think! The important thing is be healthy and be happy! Keep at it :)

Yes, thank you for that reminder. I can see and feel the changes and progress I have made and the number shouldn’t define my success or lack thereof.
