annamommy's Journal, 22 July 2024

I’ve been on and off since I started working again last September. A high stress job with a LOT of sitting. I thought when I left last month (June 14th), I’d have more time to log, pay more attention, move more. And it helped a little. But then I injured my back, had a migraine that kept me out for almost a week, working on starting my own business off Facebook and raising a pre teen and a teenage boy and all the joys, trials, and tribulations that came with it. Apparently thinking I’m doing good isn’t enough- something is off. So back to logging. I’m praying that I’m eating more than I am and it’s not a health issue- the doctor noticed raised markers a few years ago for PCOS, but said I didn’t actually have it yet. We’ll go with logging for now to see if I just wasn’t paying attention or if it’s more, I’ll make an appointment for my PCP. Coming back to my community.

Hopefully things are looking up for you. That job sounded very high stress i imagine the burnout rate is high. It was pretty high in my industry. Take good care of yourself mama.

YoH, very high burn out rates. My last 3 weeks of work, my left eye was continuously twitching every day throughout the day. It finally stopped sometime toward the end of my first week after leaving. ♥️

That used to happen to me. So annoying. Took me years to realize it was stress related (that was decades ago when it started). What kind of biz are you trying to start?

Sorry to hear the job didn't work out. God has something better for you! Take care and be sure to take care of your health! Keep us posted and it was wonderful to see a post from you!💜🙏🩷🙏

YoH, I’ve been doing things with Resin. Earrings, coaster sets, I’ve got jars curing now, and tea light candle holders, and some other things…slowly expanding what I make. It’s called This Blessed Treasure on FB. Just to generate some extra income now that I’m home again and it’s really fun.

Diana, I’m still technically doing it, just as a volunteer position. I actually didn’t leave because of the stress or weight gain. It was a God lead decision to take back my home & my family. Things my kids were being exposed to at school and starting to get involved in and lack of communication cause neither parent was ever home. So we’re blessed that I’m able to be back home to reclaim what was trying to be lost. ♥️ I’ve missed my ladies 🥰

I follow a young lady who tried carnivore WOE to reverse PCOS. It worked! She also lost 50lbs or so, it also cured her severe acne. Others I’ve listened to say it has reversed severe psoriasis, t2d, tummy issues, and depression. I’m animal based WOE but focus my attention mostly on meat & fruit but incorporate dairy and a few veggies.

The young lady I mentioned is on Instagram and her page’s name is Sylvia/meat based/ex-vegan

Storms- I’ve heard good things, too, about the carnivore. It’s not for everyone though 😔 I’ve checked into it and it’s not recommended for me. ♥️

Kudos to you! I hope your back heals quickly. You've got a lot on your plate, but remember that through Christ, you can do all things. I have a son as well and have already gone through the teen years; however, I was blessed with a son who had good friends whose parents had the same values as my husband and me, so I don't know of much advice I can give you.

I know where you’re coming from. I know that I’m weak and need the Lord’s strength to lose weight and get healthy. When I pray to Him daily, he gives me the strength to eat well and exercise. My health is better now than it was 20 years ago. I know that you can do this. It’s not how many times we fall, but how many times we get back up. 🙏
