Weight is coming down already after a great time spent with family in Dublin, which included lots of celebration meals and outings. I will probably take this weekend off calorie counting and start fresh on Monday morning. We'll be grocery shopping for all the good stuff today.
I now have an 8 week plan for summer to get back to goal weight and maintenance.
I'll aim for: - 14:10 or 16:8 IF - depending on whether I feel like a late night snack between 9 and 10pm. Doing IF I always miss breakfast foods, so I'll have bran flakes, soya yoghurt and fruit some evenings as my 'dessert'. - 1,800 daily average calories - aiming between 1,400 and 1,500 on weekdays to allow for more over the weekends.
- 49,000 steps per week - an average of 7,000 a day, which I'll need to work on increasing. Only managing about 35,000 lately. Thankfully, I'll have to walk to work a few days a week now, so that will help too.
- At least 2L of water a day.
- 3 x 30-minute YT strength workouts per week with a good 5 min stretch after (and a proper warm-up before goes without saying). Managed two workouts this week, so this should be fairly easy to achieve.
- At least 60g of protein a day.
- At least 30g of fibre a day.
- At least 30 different plant foods through the week - counting some spices like cinnamon and paprika as well, and hoping to include some fermented foods with my salads for lunch.
