I have never truly been a fan of soda, now that I have IBS it's out of the question. Here's an idea of what I do when water just won't cut it. I used to drink soda water and add a slice of lemon. Now I drink herbal tea's iced or hot, sometimes I had lemon juice or non dairy milk, and sometimes I use spices like mint, ginger, cinnamon or cayenne pepper.
