Today, I am on my 9th day of eating what I want without counting calories or measuring all my foods (I've measured a slice of apple pie 151g to be exact be cause I need to know the damage from that. The day prior to measuring it, I eye balled the slice and ate it from a small yellow bowl. The next day using the same bowl, out of curiosity, I measured it)
Today is my 9th day of eating one meal only at dinner.
In the last 9 days, I have only exercised (Read slowly and carefully) 3 times in a 1/2 hour window:
--- 1) Loading 4 bags of pellets, 40 lbs each into a shopping cart
--- 2) Taking those 4 bags from the cart and placing them in my car trunk.
--- 3) Driving home, asking two of my sons to place those bags on my shoulders, 80 lbs each and then walking approximately 30 feet before laying them down near the side entrance to the house.
In the last 9 days I didn't, nor have I walked for months now. I was in a funk. I haven't stepped into a Gym since Feb. I've done backyard projects May - July but nothing really consistent in terms of exercise since June.
Speaking of consistency, 9 days of anything is a form of control. Eating slowly is control, eating only a handful of potato chips is control (those people are Aliens which includes me as I did that a few days back after putting a hand full of chips on a paper towel and had to fight off the urge not to kill the entire bag of Plantain chips which has 10 servings [again I don't count, just need to satisfy my curiosity]).
My wife has a Quiche in the fridge and she told all the boys which includes me, that is what we are having for breakfast tomorrow and we can snack on finger foods until dinner. I told her I am not having the Quiche and she put her foot down and told me I am going to eat that Quiche. I told her yes, I am going to eat that Quiche, but I am NOT going to eat it until dinner on Friday because for now, I only eat One Meal A Day. She backed down. Yessssss!
I will not let this lockdown take me out mentally or physically. I am in control!
By the way, surviving the weekend, surviving 2 days a week when I work from home is such a win for me as in the past, the scale would shoot up like you wouldn't believe. (A weekend, 2 days working from home, and today, a vacation day (all fell within the last 9 days and I only ate ONE MEAL each day)

Imaging when I get off my lazy butt and start an exercise program to sculpt my muscles, strengthen my heart with some aerobic activity, get functionally strong and incorporate some stretching programs??????? I will be unstoppable. {{ muhaha }}
[[[[I got this]]]] Almost dinner time. Almost time to enjoy my 2 glasses of wine with my dinner which I've had every day since 11/16. (Sorry, wine is water in my house and this is how I get my fruit in)
