It is frustrating but by continuing to eat right and working out you will see it move in the right direction

Gain, gain, & more gain, following the advice of a nutritionist. I could eat 1000 cals/day and gain. Read the book Delay, Don't Deny. Has changed my life. 17 lbs down in 8.5 wks. I've been trying for the past decade to figure this out.

Cheer up. Don't get discouraged. The last 10 pounds I believe is the hardest. There is less fat to burn then. You have a great attitude towards meeting your goal still. Keep it up. You will get there.

Thanks everyone. And yes Abbadabba - you are right - I should look at the bright side - I did not gain. I just was trying to move in the right direction as I will be dining out tomorrow night and Friday for lunch and even though I will make "smart" choices and not go overboard, for some reason every time I eat out I gain and it takes a couple of days to lose it. I was hoping to have a couple of pounds "in the bank" before hand - if that makes sense LOL

It took me over 2 1/2 months to actually loose a single oz,on a scale. And I stayed the course. But I did notice my clothes were getting loose, Check on NSV before the scale, in time it stared on the scale..Good Luck to you

Definitely check your measurements too. I have lost inches lately without losing weight for weeks. I would had given up it wasn't for measuring myself for an online clothes purchase three months ago, and comparing those numbers with updated measurements.

Please... begin using a tape measure and measure neck, biceps/triceps, chest, waist, hips and thighs (at fullest points) - this helped me SO much when the scale wouldn't budge... the change that occurs when muscle mass increases and fat decreases can only be "measured", not "weighed" - take heart!

don't eat a lot of carbs and don't eat salty foods. those two things may help you to drop. You have a high calorie day showing today logging early?? special night??

Yes it stays the same for 4 to 5 days. Then miraculously you loose 2to 3 on your scale. Wait. It happens. These calories are but nasty beings trying to get the best of us. Hang in there
