For the most part I am doing well. I have been preparing my meals, staying away from the vending machine and cutting out candy which is my vice... The bad part is that I have discovered special K ceral which is super sweet and has been taking the place of candy for me. I completely overdid it with the dry cereal. It has the perfect crunch and just the right amount of sweetness to satify my need for sugar. So this week I still going to buy it but I am going to buy the small box and poor it out in a bowl and try to still as close to the serving size as possible. I also need to start drinking more water. I have been drinking those flavored sparkling waters to get me back in the habit of drinking all day, but I know I should be drinking good ole H20 as well. I did get on the scale on Saturday and I was down to 193 but I did put some salt on my apples and had sweet potato fries with salt as well.

I did make some great meals which I do need to add to my recipie book
One was split pea soup with lean turkey sausage and the other was black bean burgers with brown rice Both were wonderful!

Okay so GOALS for week of 1-17-10

1) Drink as much water as possible a day
2) Lay off the Special K cereal
3) Get in 40 minutes of cardio 5 days a week ( challenge starts)
4) Lose 2lbs this week
5) Watch my sodium intake

195.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 50.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
