I have been trying to maintain my weight at 73 to 74 kgs. by keeping my food target at 2200cals/day, my actual daily average over the last seven days as been 2282, total for the week 15978 cals. and exercise 18551 cals. resulting in -2573 net for the week, as I have had this 0.5kg loss I am thinking of increasing my food target to 2400 cals/day or should I reduce my exercise. I Would be interested in your thoughts on which is the best way to go.

I love exercise so I wouldn't reduce that and, of course, it is good for you. And if I could increase my daily intake of food without putting on weight I would be very happy!

Thanks for the support and comments, I am going with Bunty145 and increasing my daily food intake to 2400kcal. I know maintain a stable weight is a balancing act between intake cals. and cals. used, one that I have found difficult in the past always regaining the weight I have lost over time. Hopefully I will succeed this time, looking forward to next weeks weigh in.

It is a fine balance to match calories in with calories out especially as we get older. Keep a close eye and adjust as required and you should be able to maintain. It is a great place to be after a hard effort.
