Finally put new batteries in my scale and was pleasantly surprised. Even after making my declaration of wanting to get back on track, I didn't feel like I was accomplishing anything. Seeing a loss on the scale (especially after gorging on holiday food this past week) is an affirmation I needed, and hopefully the push to keep the scale going in the right direction.
