No worries. A little gain was part of the plan (seasonal eating). Very surprised it wasn't more. Not that I'm proud of it, but I have eaten horribly (compared to my normal WOE) for the past couple of months in maintenance. Honestly I had expected that much gain just by going on high fruit/starch diet. Naturally I fell in the pit with chocolate covered M&M's or ice cream almost daily. Why didn't I can the normal 20lbs I should have?? Was it "seasonal eating"?? Food combining?? Colon cleansing?? "DOES EVERYTHING HAVE A CYCLE"?? At least I did well controling the wheat/corn(HFCS) beasts which I know that my body absolutely hates.
Now, I'm honestly craving nuts, more meats, fat, root veggies, sweet potato, apples, pears, LGI carbs. Maybe I will spice some apples and pears with stevia & cinnamon, as I phase into "fall eating" which will eventually transition back to keto LCHF in winter.
I hope you all have had a great summer. I think it is finally saying goodbye to my "OM"...lol.
