It's Sure Happy It's Thursday day :) My week off is almost over which is too bad. I'm enjoying my staycation.
The trainer sent me a text message Tuesday about working out tonight and Sunday. I took that as not training on Tuesday and didn't go. I used it as an off day which I needed.
Yesterday I got my run in, 90 minutes, 7.44 miles, 12:06/mile. I added several hills in my course so I expected to be slower. It didn't help that I needed to chase off some dogs that were barking and following me. At least now I have a new course that does incorporate some hills including a short dead end road that is a fairly steep hill.
Tonight is supposed to be with the trainer. Hopefully it will happen. Tomorrow I'm running 2 x 1-1/2 miles at my target pace for the race so I can judge if it is possible. Saturday is my long run day targeting 90-105 minutes.
My weight has pretty much been stagnant. I'm not overly concerned as my fitness level is improving. I'm going to stay the course and as long as I don't gain from here I'll be happy.
Have a great day everybody!
