Hovering here a bit it seems. Had bread last night, I think it causes inflammation or water retention. 31.1% body fat according to my new scale. Looking to get below 30% and then down to 25% eventually. Turns out the event tonight is free to attend so I think that will help me limit what I eat. I am a get-my-money's-worth kind of buffet attendee. Gonna tighten up intake today to prep for the party and bump up the water. Need to do some yard work today too but I don't want to. Two more feet of stone wall to finish that, might get to it before Thanksgiving.

Bread has salt, fat and sugar. That's why so many diets nix it, not to mention that a single serving is rather small and unsatisfying (like its partner in crime, pasta). I personally dropped it off of my meal plan forever, as it's too easy for me to overeat and then crave it for every lunch or dinner.

I eat bread, too. Just had half an Everything Bagel with peanut butter for breakfast. I had Toasted Naan with my tuna salad last night. I don't eat huge servings but sometimes a small serving is just right. I also eat pasta & one serving (2 oz.) has become plenty to satisfy me.

You are doing well, and, yes bread bloats me up too because the wheat we use in the USA is so processed

I make homemade bread so I know exactly what is in it. Store bread often has lots of additives

Have stayed away from breads, potatoes and rice since the start of my journey. My achilles heal is from a restaurant we visit once a month. Their Corn bread is awesome and I can not turn it away. 1 piece only please
