Finally did my “New Years” weigh in and I’m 47lbs heavier. I knew I was back in the 260’s by the way my knees were hurting after being on my feet for a while. Yesterday while I was walking to the store I got short of breath. That has never happened to me.

Not just food, but alcohol has contributed to a major part of my weight gain, stemming from stress. I’m not just worrying about myself during this journey, I’m also worried about TJ. The last doctors told he has to lose 70lbs before they could give him surgery for his hip. We got him into another doctor who has given him a referral to see a different specialist for a 2nd opinion. Either way, he could stand to lose the weight just as much as me. We’re about 100lbs apart after his last appointment. I would love for us to shed some of this before the Arizona heat starts this summer because he definitely isn’t going to want to do anything in the heat at that weight. Me on the other hand, I love my hot girl walks. 🤭

I’m focusing on one day at a time. Making better decisions. Drinking more water. Sleeping more. Being more active and hopefully he follows along.
267.2 lb Lost so far: 15.8 lb.    Still to go: 68.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
