I have officially hit my first weight goal this morning (kind of cheated because it was post-run), but I did it. I started back in mid-January with the goal of being better. This included addressing my nutrition, sleep schedule, and actively pursuing exercising more. Fatsecret helped me to count calories and to track my weight. Those first 2-3 months I was working out 6 days a week and I attempted to decrease my calorie. I am now working out 4-5 days a week, but I have added running to my routine. I competed in my 2nd 5k this last weekend and have signed up for my 3rd next month.
All it takes is a decision to do better. I am fairly weak-willed, but I made the decision and stuck to it. This means you can do it as well.
So anyways... on to my next goal (which happens to be another 20lbs). This would put me at what I weighed in high-school and would put me at a body fat percentage I have not been able to experience yet.
