SPRING CUT - DAY 19 64 Hours Fasted
Yesterday after 2 was A BITCH. Almost didn't make it. I wasn't even that hungry, I just wanted it all to end. And the distraction of food and eating.
Fasting insomnia and dream insanity continue apace. Still mad deep in the fasting feels, like day after the worst break-up you neither wanted nor saw coming feels. Bizarre side effect, but whatevs, as the kids say. This too shall pass.
On track to deliver the fourth straight perfectly compliant 72. Not going to claim I can yet discern any semblance of upper abs, but their possibility is clear. Two weeks ago that would have seemed absurd. Pooch and handles warm to the touch and gushy, Mouth tastes like I had solder flux for breakfast. Full burn in full effect.
Cautiously optimistic that I might be able to outperform last spring's record cut - 207.6# - 189.6# on 3/1 in about 40 days. 10 days to lose 5# more for the record. Going to do another full weigh in shortly and double check stats vs. last year.
Refeed is smoked grilled ribeye smothered in butter and garlic confit, feta omelet, cucumber salad, maybe a shot of psyllium husk fiber.
