I think a high protein diet low on carbs would be fine . Because when you start fasting your body is going to go in starving mode.When you do eat something your body asorb everything the weight will go right on your body that is just what I think.

I fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It gets easier each time I do it. No breakfast and about 200 calories at lunch and about 300 at dinner. I remind myself that I won't die by breakfast if I don't eat!
