So I am learning that working a desk job just does not burn the calories. =) So I am working on how to work around that. I already walk down the hall to talk to someone instead of calling them. The street we are on is not so busy so I need to take my breaks by walking, I think that will help.

Yep, I do a few office "laps" every day and when it isn't too hot outside (I'm in Florida) we have a 1 mile path on campus to walk. Every little bit helps, park farther away and the whole nine yards :) Keep up the good work!

Ditto on the office laps. I find myself thinking of how to take the long way to get somewhere in the office instead of the short way. Make it a part of your day to get up and move around as much as you can. I work in a large facility and whenever I go to another part of it I take the long route and lap the whole place unless I don't have the time. Otherwise many of my work days would be mostly sitting.

Walk and move around every chance you get. Walk to talk to someone instead of calling them if you can. Avoid the bowls of treats. Pack your lunches. :)
