week 15 pregnancy: weightlifted once this past week, hoping to bump exercises up to 2x (Tuesday and Thursday this week). Appetite is starting to grow a lil, less nausea but food aversions is still there. The smell of any leftovers is absolutely appalling!! 10 days until sonogram.

Brings back memories! With my last oregnancy (the 10#1 oz one) I had to cook dinner meat early in the day because if I smelled it near dinnertime, I'd get sick as a barffing dog.) Interestingly, I had gestational diabetes thaat wasn't recognized until that child delivered. I knew soon as I saw him, as I'd helped in delivery of several diabetic moms' deliveries and my previous two were 6#-something. I wonder if diabetes contributes to the food-smell aversion...

Maybe!! Every pregnancy is is different. I had it my previous 2 but it wasnt leftovers, i will eat them once their warm, its just taking off lid i have to turn my nose. So far, my past 2 i passed glucose test!! Im heavier starting out with this pregnancy but WAAY more sensible, partly due to food aversions, and i wanna avoid GD. Diabetes doesnt run in my family thankfully! Not that will prevent it but not as susceptible.
