Well I managed to lose 3 lbs in my first week - don't think I actually deserved to lose that amount as my calorie intake was a bit high. Will try harder this week to keep within (or nearer) to my calorie limit. Exercise can only be walking as I'm only just recovering from a broken ankle (plaster cast has been off for 3 weeks only) and ankle very stiff and still painful :(

Dear Maria, I admire anyone who has a go this is just so important.
The fact you have had a problem with your ankle and still managed to lose that 3 lbs in your first week is admirable well done indeed.
I am a 73 year young man who is also registered disabled but like you I can use a treadmill all be is at a slow speed but it works for me.
I wish you all the success you wish yourself and look forward to seeing you reach you goal.
Well don Maria well done indeed.
