The scale finally budged. I really do think those deviled eggs I ate that made me feel so sick the next day impeded my progress. Temporarily. I'm going to try really, really hard to stay off that scale and weigh in only once a week.
Very good news here. I've decreased my insulin again, and it looks like I'll be decreasing it even more in the near future. I'm down to 120 total units, divided into morning and evening dose. I used to use more than that in just my evening dose. My total dosing before starting Atkins was 250 units a day, and that still wasn't keeping me in tight control.
And...I've lost another inch off my waist and another inch off my hips, for a total of 3 inches each since I started.
So, if I start whining about the scale not budging again, would someone please remind me about the fact that I've cut my insulin by more than half and the tape measurer shows loss? Thanks. lol
