Make sure you are eating enough protein. It helps stave off hunger longer.

Thank you @carriev for the idea. :) I'm going to try eating something higher in protein, hopefully it kicks this hunger

One thing that I have figured out is that I can eat a lot of carbs and still not feel full. I agree with the protein idea, and also add as many vegetables as you can stand. Good luck - hope things get better soon!

I have to start my dieting with phentermine Prescription from Dr. otherwise I'm always hungry. After a few months my body has shrunk and my WOE has changed. It's not for everyone but you could talk with Dr.

Bad bacteria in the gut uses starch for food. When you cut back the starchy junk, it starves off. It’s ancient, and has survival mechanisms to make you crave these foods. The bacteria release chemicals that make us want more starch and sugar. It’s amazing really. Our bodies are made of more bacteria than our own cells. We are really just hosts, and become whatever we build a shelter for when you think about. We can either throw a nice tea party, or a college rave. Dr Natasha Campbell McBride has written wonderfully on this, and has YouTube videos as well. I’m a huge fan girl for her.

Remember that it is okay to be hungry. Part of this journey is the mental changes too. When I have those days I usually try to start with a big glass of water and remind myself that I have had plenty of calories so far. It usually takes about 30-45 minutes to kick in. I'm also working on eating until I am satisfied and not full.

Drink water for hunger pains. Should take 1 gallon over a day.

water, water, water. we often mistake thirst signs for hunger signs, and water fills you up as well.

I second the calls for more healthy fats, sufficient water and moderate protein. I might add eating as much dark leafy greens as you can stand :)

And! If you can't eat it, drink it! I know I don't usually want salad in the morning, but a smoothie hits the spot nicely...also hot tea...
