I went to the store with TFFP book in hand confused and dazed at all the supplements. I guess I had the DEER in the head lights look. A very nice women who worked at the BONEYS in Oceanside Ca. saw my book and asked if I need help. She pointed out some of my starting things I needed and I headed out the door with 65.00 worth of stuff. That is just supplements, whey, oil, apple cider and cranberry juice. Still need to go to the grocery store to get real food and lemons. This whole thing has got me overwhelmed and Im wondering can I really stick to this. I never got past a week on any diet. But the FFP makes sense and I am SICK of having this APRON of fat around my middle. Turning 50 hasn't been too fun. I know if I could get RID of this flabby gut and butt then I would feel better about myself. I work at a hospital and I am under HIGH stress all the time. When I get REALLY stressed and getting off of carbs I get all shaky and light headed. That is when I blow it to get my blood sugar up and or the high I get and feel good I get from sugar. I swear I feel like an addict. I could LIVE by bread alone with a stick of butter! This will be hard, I dont want to be too hard on myself and get too wrapped up in this or I will fail. I know how to eat right but it is the battle of the mind and soul. The mind says NO dont eat that you know that is no good. The sould says, FILL me up, make me fill full and satified, feed ME! You know how old do you have to be to not worry anymore about how you look, what you eat and what you wear? 65? I have been fighting the same 10-20 pounds my WHOLE LIFE. I hate it!
Well, I am starting the FAT FLUSH PLAN tomorrow with NO coffee in the morning? This is just sad. All I can do is give it a try huh? Not the end of the world, I will get to have coffee again someday, maybe. IF I can wash away the pounds and keep it off then I will gladly put down the coffee. I think that is the whole idea right? You wont crave the old ways after eating right. Well, I have vented enough....cros your fingers for me.
Gee....I feel like Im entering a REHAB!

Hi, First off you don't have to totally give up the coffee. You are allowed to have 1 cup of organic coffee (found in most health food stores) a day. You are going to want to go onto Unikeyhealth.com and order your supplements from them. Less costly in the long run! The only whey that is reccommended by the plan is the unikey whey also...but I hear that Rob Roy's is okay...sometimes it contains hidden artificial sweetner though so beware. Good luck... I often said the same about sticking to diets..but I stopped looking at this as such. Its just now a way that I eat and I've stuck with it for 8 months now. Lisa

It kind of is like rehab! I suffer from sugar addiction as well. I finally got some Stevia and it helps me a little. It kind of tastes like artificial sweetners but it is good for you! It is only fiber - no calories, no carbohydrates, and it is a zero on the Glycemic index. Make sure you ween yourself off of sugar and coffee or you will get a bad headache. I didn't take any supplements when I started, I just took a vitamin. Most people will lose weight right away, but don't be do hard on yourself. Take it one day at a time and don't get upset if you get off trake, just don't stay off track. I wish you lots of luck!

The Teccino tastes just like coffee. I think even better.

Well, this is day 2 and really it hasnt been that bad. I really liked the whey protein shake I made this morning. I sat and read the paper with my hot lemon water so that wasnt too bad. I did take a sip of my boyfriends! tee hee. I'm afraid where I am going to get bored is with the dinners, Im not real up on all the different ways to make vegetables. I tried the spagetti squash with the cinnamon and ugh, didnt do anything for me. So I bought some baby sqaush and zapped it in the microwave with the fs oil and spices. Ate some chicken. I havent been hungrey at all and I think it is due to the flax seed I have in the morning cocktail. I did buy some psyllium tonight, will try that two. Got the GLA and will try that. So far Im ok and not wanting to blow it with ice cream or anything. Just afraid I will get bored with fixing the veggies.

I like the spaggetti squash plan or with tomatoe sauce. I like to broil my chicken with lemon juice and then cut it up into pieces and put into baggies and freeze. That way I can grab a bag to add to my salads at lunch.
