Hey, ya'll! I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with everyone. I feel a bit like an outcast loser since quitting south beach! I know that is stupid but I do feel like I let some of ya'll down after all the help and support you all gave me. I have been feeling much better since going back to my calorie/fat counting diet, though. I have more energy to work out, and I am less obsessed over food, because I can have virtually anythng, just not any quantity of it. I know the importance of choosing the healthiest options, though.
One thing that is kind of a drawback is that my appetite is higher now that I am eating carbs again. I still haven't weighed myself in a while, although it looks like I did on my chart. I doubt I am 138 though, I'm probably higher. I realize that adding carbs back will make you hold water weight at first, so I'm not freaking out. I will weigh myself in a few days.
i haven't worked out today. I am a lazy bum! Heheheheh. I'm blaming it on the weather, it's dreary and freezing rain, I just want to huddle up to a nice warm heater.
I slept until 11:30! oooopss!! :)
I have been naughty and been on the computer a lot today. I did a little housework but not much! I am going to lift some weights a little later though.
I feel a little ickie right now becauce I took some fat burner pills and a multivitamin on an empty stomach. I feel nauseous. :X
That was dumb, eh? The fat burners are from natural stuff mostly, like ginseng and green tea, but I shouldn't have taken both at once. My vitamin always makes me nauseous if I don't eat with it!
It reminds me of when I was pregnant and I would be running for the bathroom to throw up 15 minutes after taking a prenatal vitamin! I experimented with a ton of prenatals, and all of them made me sick, so my doctor told me to take Flinstone's vitamin! Heh heh those were the only ones I could handle! i had morning sickness for 3 months.

Yep. Good times, good times. :D

I was the same way with prenatal vitamins but finally found a CVS brand that didn't make me sick. But I too had morning sickness for 3 months. Just with my son though. With my daughter i felt wonderful the whole time. And don't feel like an outcast. I just happened to come across your journal. I usually keep my thing on just South Beach but switched it to My Buddies b.c of the new challenge. And there you were!! Have a great weekend!!

Just because SB didn't work for you and chose another plan...doesn't make you a *loser* in my mind....And I'm happy that you KNOW that in your own mind....DO what works for U darlin....and sooo NICE to see ya! At least you're still here and trying hard! I'm sure none of your SBD buddies mind at all - they just want you to be happy and successful in your weight loss goal. Hope you're having a great weekend! :)
