Eeerrgghhh - what a week I am having....

My son is off school again (2nd day now). He woke up full of a cold with a bit of a temperature too so my routine is still out the window......

We went to Pizza hut last night as a treat with my MIL since my husband is away with work...I was SO ready to be as healthy as possible but i crumbled at the last minute....

I had the salad to start whichI think I did OK with but with ordering for everyone I totally forgot to order my pizza with half cheese - I could have kicked myself. Then I totally blew it and had banoffee pie for dessert. I felt so fat and awful afterwards.... :(

Today, so far so good. just had 3.5 points for breakfast (wholemeal toast and jam) and 1 point soup for lunch although I'm getting hungry now so I may head for an apple or a WW choc roll....yummy!

Husband is back tomorrow....I'm going to sit down with my WW recipe books tonight and plan next week's food properly. I can't have another week like this.

Don't beat yourself up over pizza and pie! It was just a blip on the radar. You are already showing tremendous progress by recognizing your pitfalls and planning your meals out to avoid falling into them again! That is awesome! Keep coming back to your healthy ways and you will be successful. You can do it!

Ditto. It's all about what you do AFTER you eat pizza and pie. Do you wake up the next day and eat more? No. You get back on track, so that the next time you want pizza and pie, you'll feel less and less guilty about it. For me, staying on plan 99% of the time is what makes me feel OK when I go off it for special events. I'm going out to dinner with my Dad and siblings next week, on the 1 year anniversary of my Mom's death. . . I'm dreading it, both from the food angle and the emotional whammy angle. I'm going to want to shove food down my gullet like nobody's business, but will work hard not to.
