Arggggh, these cravings are driving me insane! First, I want Chinese food, then I want Mexican food. It was over 92 degrees and while driving I saw a guy walking with a slurpee and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. =/

Good thing is I resisted temptation and didn't give in. :) It's officially been a week since I've started my diet and I feel great. I used to weigh myself whenever I got the chance, but I put the scale away and will only weigh myself on Sundays!

I know it is hard especially when faced with the tempation. Happy for you not giving in. Once a week on the scale is what the doc told me to do. Fluid makes me go up and down lots so he told me to stay off the scales everyday because it would just discourage me and cause me to give in to cravings or just give up. Hang in there. Drink more water and up fiber intake. It will help keep you full longer.

YES - that is great advice from Shell020702 ! Also you can browse the FS recipes and find ways to make low fat, low sodium versions of your favorites - tonight I am having burritos I make with ground turkey and fatfree refried beans! Yummy!

I freak out over cravings too. Definitely drink more water. I am a big snacker -- what do you crave mostly? Is is saltty or sweet? Keep healthy snacks that fulfill both of those constantly with you. I noticed that I crave fast food on the go. If I don't have anything that I can munch on to pass cravings, I will give in and buy the food. You can DO IT! :)
