Yesterday I ate 859 calories from pizza. wow.... it really wasn't worth it because you still feel hungry after 2 pieces because they are not very big and any bigger would be even more calories. Better to make a whole wheat cheese pizza from scratch. I won't be doing that again!

Today is a new day :)

Another good idea is a thin crust pizza. I like the PC Blue Menu ones, but there are plenty to choose from. What is really not worth the calories is the extra bread on the deep dish (including "rising crust") pizzas. When I have the PC Blue Menu Mushroom, I can consume the whole pizza for fewer calories than you got from 2 slices. Like everything else, it helps to shop around, to see what you can get for your calorie allowance.

I love white pizza too, posterchild! I am not supposed to have red sauce, so this is my pizza compromise!

88ELIZABETHCADY88: I've seen those Blue Menu ones and I think I've had one before that was Bacon and Onion and the entire pizza was only 600 caloris and I was very full! I've also had one that was chicken and red peppers or something like that and it also was very low in calories. I bought the rising crust ones because they were on sale lol so silly of me just to save a buck lol

I make individual mini pizza using low sodium rice cakes in plain or white cheddar flavor. You add the tomatoes, shredded low-fat cheese, onions, peppers (all diced as tiny as you'd like or chunky) and whalah! Believe me, you won't think you're on a diet when you eat it. It's so much healthier and richer than store-bought. I think that the problem for many overweight and obese people is their eating habits are programmed toward high-fat / high-caloric foods. Gravy, sauces, butter, desserts...that's where reprogramming (relearning better habits) are necessary if successful weight loss is to occur. Pizza is not bad at all...it just depends on what you use to make it.
