racheo23's Journal, 26 March 2010

Alot of stuff has put me back in my diet this month, causing me to gain a great amount. My boyfriend and I broke up...resulting in a binge on easter candy. Then I went to paris for 2 weeks, eating bread and butter, cheese, and pasteries the whole time. I need support to get myself back to where I was. I feel like crap everyday now and I keep on digesting poison and cupcakes and sugar. TOMORROW I WILL MAKE A CHANGE. NO MATTER WHAT. I NEED THIS.

Diet Calendar Entry for 26 March 2010:
1948 kcal Fat: 66.35g | Prot: 15.81g | Carb: 316.67g.   Breakfast: White Chocolate, Total 0% Greek Yogurt. Lunch: carrot cake cupcake, cream cheese frosting. more...

Sorry about all your hard times. We all have struggles in life we have to overcome and we have to try to stay strong and not let them rule our life. We have to put ourselves first and dont make excuses for our bad habits. My bff told me a couple months ago now to stop making excuses, get off my behind, and get my stuff together so I can live life again. If she having started at 460lbs,4 kids, brain cancer and other health stuff associated with her cancer could do it now weighing 310lbs and walking 7 or more miles a day why couldnt I. So I stopped making excuses and did it. I hope that I dont hurt your feelings. I am just trying to tell you you are worth it and dont let anything stand in the way of you getting your life back and not being prisoner of your own body. I hope my words help you in some way. Good luck. XOXo

I totally know how you feel. Especially after a break up. Ugh, thats the worst. the thing that motivates me is making sure that if I ever run into my ex, he'll be thinking "wow i let that go?" I am not losing the weight because of him, but I want to have better self esteem because I know that when we do run into each other I wont feel like I've lost out. I've realize that tomorrow is always a good time to start. start replacing what you would normally eat with healthier choices...Ie..I used to eat a hamburger for lunch, no I eat a chicken sandwich...not a huge change, but the protien in chicken is better for me. I switched the fries for broccoli...and I think thats a good step.

Like the song says, "Breaking up is hard to do..." but you have taken the first step, you see that it is wrong what you have been doing and you want to make a change. I will be honest its not going to be easy and you will have dreams about bubblegum fairies and apple pie dreams, but then you wake up from that cold sweat and you may fall and get that pie but it won't taste as good as you think. And it make make you feel bad and who wants to feel that guilt. I will say fatsecret is the BESTEST ever and the people you meet on this sight will celebrate with you in the victories big or small and encourage in the pitfalls. We are all human, but you have to fight for that sexy body, you have to fight against the craving, you have to fight every day every time you sit down to eat and make the right choice. Take a min then take another minute before you put that food item in your food basket take a thrid minute when you order from that restaurant. You have spent your whole life eating what you want...now you have to eat was is right. I wish you all the best and I will be checking on you and I hope you check on. See you on the other side of ...more fabulous. We are all fab we just want to be MORE fab. Fit Fine and Fabulous to be exact. Happy Eating.

Listen, I don't know why exactly I decided to comment, maybe because I like white chocolate too, maybe because you had Greek Yogurt and... I'm Greek..., maybe because your March 26th journal has NOTHING to do with that great optimistic smile of your pic, which I thought it reflects the real you!. (did that make any sense or was it all Greek to you and I should try again....?) Panos

You know what? You were in PARIS. Who wouldn't want to eat all that stuff????? I say embrace it. Don't ruin the memory, know that easter candy tastes best after a break-up, and bread tastes better in Paris. Now that your break-up is over, and you're not in Paris any longer...this is the time to start doing what you need to get yourself in shape. But treasure those other memories, don't ruin them with regret -- they make you human, and they are proof you are living. Seriously, what a tremendously romantic way to cheat on a diet. :) P.S. I love what you had for breakfast this morning. Too bad it wasn't full fat greek yoghurt, because that is truly heaven! Okay now, Viva la future!!!
