A fairly good day - I spent most of my 12.5hour shift cleaning, changing beds and carrying out linen today. I barely sat down at all because due to a very busy weekend on the ward and one colleague being unwell while another seems to believe that cleaning duties are beneath her (and is allowed to get away with it), none of the cleaning jobs since Friday had been done - so I did them all - which proves my point that if I can do all my regular day duties plus all the cleaning jobs for 3 and half days, I'm sure that the member of staff who seems to get away with doing no cleaning jobs at all could manage to do one or two jobs on her night shift (which is when the jobs are sposed to be done anyway)!!! Anyway, I burnt up loads of cals - but I won't be doing it again tomorrow..... :(
