Hello 77's! :)
I'm back in the 77 kg category, and it's a good feeling. It's been a while since I've been here, and though I probably am back in 78 tomorrow, I'm gonna totally bask in the pride of accomplishing it.
It's Saturday, and that usually means a good deal of weight loss since Friday's weigh-in. It always happens after band practice. However, I also gain some for Sunday.
There is no Indulgence Day for me this week. I feel that I have so much control of my food intake, that there is no need to go nuts - and I probably couldn't eat all that food anyways.
For days I haven't finished ANY meal, simply because I am full. I have control, I stop when I think I'm full, and I feel great doing it. Weird, that things have changed like that.
Yesterday, Wife and I went out shopping, and ended up in a fancy cafe for a pricy lunch. We had wraps with chicken breast, and it was awesome. However, I couldn't even finish half the dish. I stopped when I felt I should stop, got the rest in a to-go box and I had it for dinner. What a nice feeling to have this kind of control.
At band practice, our traditional break with bread and cheese was just one slice for me. Normally it's three.
I'm still running low on my calories, and I know I should have more. It's tough, though, as I feel that I eat until I can honestly say I'm full. I'm in no way hungry when I leave the table, and I have no urge for more food. I feel like I am at peace with myself when I eat, and that I am in charge.
It just doesn't get much better than this.
Wife and I are going to a little market here in town today. It's so sad that we live in a town with no dedicated vegetable shop, we only have the crap that they sell at the supermarkets. However, today they are trying to do a market to promote vegetables here. I love the idea, and I will definitely be there shopping and supporting. Hopefully it's turn out that we DO have the need for such a shop, and that someone eventually will open one.
We're having guests over tonight, and dinner will be fajita salads for everyone. I'm looking forward to this. Lunch will be out on the town. I don't know just yet what I'll have, but I'll make sure I stay within RDI. Of course, I could adjust the RDI now that I am where I like to be weight-wise, but I think I'll simply feel my way to how much I want to eat, register it all and see where I end up, high or low calorie intake. I feel that I have the control to do this today. Let's see if I can do it. :)
