Day 14 of phase 1 and getting through today will be the thought of having a piece of whole grain toast with an egg for breakfast tomorrow......I think I will slowly ease into phase 2 and really watch what works and what doesn't. That way I can easily correct anything that works adversely. I think that is the whole point on this is to slowly test your metabolism....of which mine has been non-existent for years.

according to the book...you should start with one higher carb food per day per week and it recommends that you do not start with bread...i started with adding back in at dinner and then at lunch on week 2 of phase 2 and stayed at 3 items per day...after that i gain or stand still for to long to suit me...good luck
