My husband challenged me to a competition! He asked me last night, "Do you think I can get up to 170 before you get down to 120?" At first, I answered "Yes," because I feel like I'm really reforming the way I'm eating, and I'm not losing as much as fast as I think I should be. After I thought about it, I said, "No, because you have that pituitary problem, and you're a smoker." Now, I'm not sure. He's 157 right now. I'm not sure it would be easier for him to put on weight than it would be for me to lose it. Anyway, it sure is what I needed to get my but in gear. On my strength-training "off days," I'll be doing an hour of heart-pumping cardio. (Previously, those days are completely "off" days. I did almost nothing. Except walk around a store for an hour.) This competition should be pretty fun. I'm going to win. I think he and I ought to discuss a First Place prize...ha ha ha!
