Wow...what a crazy year. From 143lbs to well over 166lbs all because of alcohol and its associated habits. Drunk people crawling into bed together isn't the only bad habit stemming from alcohol I guess :-)

In any event, its once again the Lenten time of my yearly regimen where I stop drinking for at least 40 days. This year I will be staying dry all the way until May Long Weekend (Fri 18May18).

During this time i will be consuming my regular food regimen that will remain virtually unchanged for the entire duration. I will post a weeks worth of it after this journal entry if anyone is interested.

Usually, the only thing to report during this duration is that without booze its not that difficult to control my food intake. Hopefully, some people may find this concept helpful. Basically, if your having difficulty controlling your food intake maybe look outside the dinner plate.
165.2 lb Lost so far: 35.4 lb.    Still to go: 25.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
