Hello all my buddies! How the heck are you on this fine Thursday afternoon? I'm great! I feel good, my work is done, my WORK-OUT is done, and I have a solid hour to visit with you all!
today is the first day of SB phase 1. Remember I'm repeating this part to see if there are any changes since I broke the p/b habit! (I'm on day 5 without it!)Yipeeee!!! If the scales don't hardly budge, I am ok with that. Lately, I'm beginning to morph into a less-bloated person, so I'm happy with how I'm beginning to look. My muffin top is almost gone! LOL
I have to laugh at the letters I'm getting in regard to my weight. some people are a little worried that I might be too thin. I'm only 5' 1" tall, ya'll! Even my structure/build is little! My ideal weight, according to my doctor, should be around 105!! All I want to do is weigh 110 (so I can keep my boobs! LOL) I feel that the weight is coming off very slowly because I'm doing it right. I diet carefully and get plenty of exercise. It is what it is! No tears over here! I know what you mean, Janelleas, when you say you come from a family of little people! My mom was 4' 10" tall! Her average weight was 88 lbs. any more than that, and she looked chubby! I recall when she weighed 110 and looked really fat!
So, with any luck, I am hoping that I'll lose a couple pounds!
So far today, I've done really good.
Breakfast: 1/2 C. egg substitute with mixed veggies
Lunch: low/carb slimfast shake vanilla
snack: s/f jello and f/f cool whip

I'm planning on having tuna salad for dinner tonight.

Hi there! I think they should put height on our profiles because it makes a big difference in weight goals. Someone my height (5'7") would be a skeleton at 110, heck, I looked horrible at 128lbs. It is definitely all relative to height and bone structure. I've seen you be pretty health-concious, so I'm not worried about you for one. LOL. I'm glad the no PB is working for you. I've had to deal with food sensitivities too and it is empowering to find out even though it is a bummer to give up certain foods. Good job.

i'm 5 7 and I liked the way I looked when I weighed 115, I didn't think I was too thin. I had muscle tone and was in good shape. sigh.. But, yeah, everybody's different, definitely. I'm glad you busted your plateau! That must feel great! :)

115 at 5'7 sounds way thin to me, but thats just me. I'm 5'2 and at 115 small boned, people say I look better at about 120. But yes, bone structure, hieght, even where your waist sits and your breast size and how much lean muscle mass you have all contribute to what your weight needs to be. BadAndee, I know that you are going off of experience and real serious thought and knowledge to determine your goal weight. If anyone gives you grief, let me know, I'm itching to let all my nice-ness go out the window for an hour or so! LOL And Im eating the usual, cabbage, zucchini and a boca buger. You go get em girl!

I'm the same as you, I'm 5'0" (technically 4" 11 3/4" lol) and have small bone structure, and even the smallest amount of weight shows :( So keep it up, I'm glad you're doing well!

You know best!! You seem to have it all under control. Keep up the great work. BTW, the smallest I have ever been was 128, and I am 5'7. And yes, I looked sickly. I was really thin and "healthy" looking at 150 and a size 6. so everyone just has to do what works for them. Oh yeah, and my hubby says I have atleast 15 lbs of boobs to account for. ha!

Well, here comes the 'big boned' person to add to the mix...haha! Good job BA on kicking over that hurdle! I'm 5'4" 144lbs and I feel pretty good about how I look and FEEL! That's the most important. THIS body type is not suppose to be 125...130 is pushing it here. We're all different and that's cool! Again, you work hard to get to where you are BadAndee...You should be proud sister! And yes...too much weight loss causes boob reduction! LOL!!!!!

Well dang guys, I feel like an Amazon compared to all of y'all! I'm 5'9"!!! I feel hugely tall compared to a lot of girls though... I have very few female friends my height... but a lot of dudes! Anyways BadAndee, you're doing really good and I'm proud of you for not eating the PB! Glad you put your height too... I wondered that same thing actually. Good job though so far... you'll get there quicker than you know it!

Like Sibby - I am big boned as well, I am 5'6" tall and fairly evenly proportioned - so no real one problem area - that must mean they are all problem areas LOL! After high school I was down to 128 for about a minute - and everyone thought I had an eating disorder - guess I showed them! I feel I look my best around 147-150 - I have no illusions about ever being a size 6 and I am perfectly fine with that. It really does make a difference in how a person is classified - small, medium or large frame - that determines a healthy weight for them. And some of us are more blessed in the bust area - not all they are cracked up to be, you have not lived until you try to golf with them or ride in a speed boat with choppy water! LOL

I don't golf, but I know when I play mini/putt putt golf, my boobs totally get in the way. My husband thinks it is just an excuse but they totally do!!

dang, don't know what happened to my post.. since you asked.. I had a chicken breast and some roasted veggies (olive oil, zucchini, squash, eggplant and onion). Yep, we all come in thinking eventually I might get there, but baby steps for now! I will be happy to make my first goal, then I'll think about readjusting it.

LOL....well, cheers to the big boobs in the hood!! At least I know where to go when I need a little oomph to my bra!!! It's funny to see everyone opening up about their height and bone structure. I am small build also. I am only 5 feet tall. And since we are all opening up to each other, I must admit that I had a breast reduction and lift about 20 years ago. I have a lot of health problems. High BP, high cholestrol, ostio-arthritus, ostio-perosis, and at one time I had a cronic back ache, which I was seriously considering an operation for. I was trully shocked in November when I was diagnosed with diabetes. The doctor has me testing my blood sugar 7 times a day. I trully eat low carb and no sugar. I just don't understand it. I guess that's why I keep a close eye on my weight.

My two cents worth as well....TERRIFIC job on getting to your goal....!! And I Sooooo totally agree on the height/bone structure build determining *ideal* weight.....I think our ideal weight is where we find ourselves to be the most comfortable....whether that's 10 pounds over ideal or 10 pounds under.....AS long as we are all making healthy snack and food choices....I am 5' 10" and large framed. I told my son this morning that I weighed 305 in August.....He was shocked, to say the least.....I'm MOST comfortable at about 175....but I'd like to see what 150 feels like.....lol Congrats on your goal!
