I should be excited about next week, but am dreading it in terms of my diet. I will be on a cruise where "all you can eat" is an understatement. This will be a real test of my will power. My goal is to not gain weight and hopefully still lose a pound or two. Unlike previous cruises, this time I think I will try to find my way to the onboard gym.

I would love to know how you make out and what choices there are, I am going on a cruise in May. I want to loose a few pounds so I don't get harpooned on the high seas, but I dont' want to loose all control.

Get to that salad bar a few time before each meal - and remember - most of the time they cater to your every whim, so don't be shy and ask for the kcal count menu if they have one (some do now - Disney did). The Gyms and spas are a great idea - I hope you have a great time and best of luck. (oh, if your dinners are preset at different restaurant each night - again don't be shy if you loved a meal from one you ate at the night before that was low kcal... just ask for that meal, they will get it for you.)
