Starting hiccups...but getting this machinery oiled and tuned for tomorrow!

Morning: Didn't wake up early enough to go workout--didn't try hard enough!

Bfast: coffee with cream
Lunch at noon: salad with cranberries, walnuts, and goat cheese croutons + 3/4 portabello wrap (prbly 500 cals total)
around 6 pm: vending machine fix! 3 bags of chips: 600 cals or so
Dinner: chinese fried rice 900 cals
10 pm snack: leftover pizza slices (probly anoother 500 cals)

Total intake: 2500 of absolute junk!

Ready to get serious. My problem is I waddle in like a penguin at the bottom of a hill, and look up to realize I'm facing a huge mountain....so then I just waddle back away homeward...thinking tomm is another day!

I am truly ready to say NO to junk and over-the-allowance calories. 700-1000 calories--and STOP!! No matter if that's all i had that day!

And workout atleast once!

Tomm: Committing to cal counting, and going to my p90x class in the evening.

Hello! Hello! It's so good to see so many from "the old crowd" reuniting and it's oddly strange that we have all come back within a week or two of each other... serendipitous? I think so! Speaking from my own experience... I suggest tackling the snack/junk food monster first and then, once you feel you have a handle on that, move on to worrying about the exercise/workout aspect. In my hiatus away from fatsecret, I first added exercise, then I started to tweak my daily diet (without restricting calories at first) to wean myself (and my family, who were all on board) off of red meat, high fat, heavily processed, empty calorie foods. I still have a few "stragglers" left to evict from "the building" but I've made some great progress.... all in small steps. It really is about life changing, permanent decisions that you can live with. So happy to see you here! Looking forward to cheering you on to your success :)
