lowered my RDI today and really trying to keep my fat under 20% (which is tough!). Let's see if that will help break this battle I have with my body of me wanting to lose weight but my body is desperately trying to keep it - for whatever reason... friends say its just because since I have been working out more than I ever have before in my life that its the muscles.. but I don't believe that. Everyday I keep trying something different but then I get on the scale... and its the EXACT SAME as the day before and the day before that and the day before that...

hmmmmmmmmm, looks like it is working for you! See calories are NOT calories in my book! I need to add this info to the challenge. Carbs are what our bodies use for energy. If you eat something high in carbs near bedtime, your body has fuel to eat during the night. If you don't eat something high in carbs, (I eat a tablespoon of peanut butter with an 8 oz glass of skim milk around 7 or 8 pm after I finish my workout)your body can use the stored fat to burn while you are sleeping. I am not a nutritionist or a scientist. This is just MY observations, and it makes sense. Some people say nothing to eat period after a certain time, and I agree you don't want to plop on the couch with a bag of chips, cookies or anything else unhealthy. I just think you should keep your fat/protein/carbs in range properly and avoid those high carb evening snacks and you will lose weight. Of course this is assuming you are on the proper RDI and watching it closely. Calories add up. I eat healthy so I can fit my little desserts in earlier in the day though. I eat my fruit between breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner instead of in the evening. I hope you continue to lose consistently. You may have hit a plateau and this helped shake you off of it. Keep us posted and please post in the forum so others can learn from you!
