This past week was maintenance week! I struggled getting used to idea of eating to my limit as opposed to under it, but got used to it by the end of it.
The result? I stayed within the 133.~s, so that counts as maintaining to me. (Technically, a 0.4 lb gain)
This week helped me reflect on what exactly my activity level was. Normally, I consider myself lightly active, but during exam week (this past week), I was very sedentary. It's going to be like that when I go home, so I've decided to change my calorie intake to match that of a sedentary lifestyle. So my burn for the day goes from about 1830 to 1600, which means my calorie intake goes from 1400 to 1200. I don't think I can get away with 1200, so I'm sticking to 1350. In exchange however, I can log whatever I do that I consider activity during the day, like walking to class (although I won't be doing a whole lot of that for the next month, lol).
This semester has seen some good progress. I finally hit a healthy weight and I've been moving from there.
I'm wondering if I should slow down. I like the challenge of losing weight, but I don't want to be doing it forever. I'd rather adjust my lifestyle so I can eat without worrying about gaining, and lose slowly instead of restricting myself to lose over 1 lb a week.
Technically, I wanted to reach my goal of 130 by next week, but I'm thinking that I'm going to lose some weight when I go to Japan (I've been told we'll be walking A LOT), so I'll let it be a pleasant surprise to be under 130 when I get back (I hope XD). So, I'll try to get down to 130 by the weekend before I leave for Japan (which is...3.5 pounds in 5 weeks).
So next week, I just want to be in the 132's. That 0.6 lbs. It won't be that hard, right? (I really don't want to eat my words...)
