Well I had fallen off for the past 3 weeks and hadn't exercised at all. I was going to the gym at least 3 times a week. I gotta get back on track tomorrow. Somehow I still managed to lose weight though. But I know it will come back if I don't start exercising. I am at work now so when I get off its off to the gym. Will post my results.

When are you going to weigh in? Definitely go to the gym, it will be a good start to getting back on track, you will get a boost from it and it will help kick start your determination! Good luck!

Well I just joined like an hour ago and my current weight is 220. I have lost 20 pounds in the past month and a half, so luckily I haven't gained anything since I stopped exercising. I know getting back to the cardio is gonna kill me. I am getting bored with the treadmill, but the bike hurts my knees. Don't want to go to any of the classes yet until I get my stamina back up. But I will see how it goes.

Hey well done on losing so much over December - if you read back on people's journals on here you will see that pretty much everyone struggled to not put on weight, let alone lose it! Have you tried the epillectal (sorry i cant spell it) machine? That is a strong favourite on this website. That might be more gentle than the bike? I personally like the rower the best, and the bike, because I like sitting down! lol

the elliptical takes a lot more energy than the treadmill. but duh, that would probably burn more calories. i am gonna try it today for a while though maybe 30 minutes.

i walk everyday, so i dont use the treadmill..i have in the past, i use the bike in like 15 minute intervels, so my butt dont hurt, and the elliptical is easier on my knees , what ever you use try and use a hill program and set the resistance up, making it harder...all 3 burn close to the same amount of calories, depending on how much effort you put into it..

Well i cant really do anymore than 15 minutes on one machine, I just dont have the stamina. When my workload at uni lightens up im going to go back to the gym and really work on my stamina. Back when I was going to the gym my weight loss happened twice as fast as when I didnt go to the gym, so its definitely worth going. Good luck!
