To address concerns, here is a little background on me: Back in jr high or high school, I was a very obese little girl. I started counting calories/working out and went from mid-170s to mid-120s in about 9 months. It was a little over 50 lbs lost. I have fluctuated up and down ever since. In spring of 2016, I found out I was pregnant. I was mid-upper 160s at the time and I was already wanting to lose weight then. I gained 40 lbs during the pregnancy and I think topped out at 209. Within 3 weeks of delivering him, I was in the upper 170s and had just about 10 lbs left to go to be back at my pre-pregnancy weight. I am a breastfeeding mom, which I was told would help me lose weight, so I never really *stopped* "eating for two". I was scared counting calories would cause my milk supply to dip. I was up to 191 lbs by late August, when I decided I needed to do something. He was 9 months old at the time, but I decided *if* my milk supply suffered, I would just deal with it and switch out to formula because I needed to stop hating myself. I started making better choices and counting my calories. I try to limit carbs, but I don't always do the best. I still enjoy life and if I am hungry, I eat. I eat anywhere from 1200-3000 calories a day, it just depends on what I have planned and whether or not I decide to "splurge". I personally feel as if I am doing this is a very healthy fashion. Yes, the weight has fallen off fairly quickly, but I contribute that to the fact that I am still breastfeeding - now I am seeing the benefit/weight loss everyone told me was a part of breastfeeding. It burns quite a bit of calories. I have been on the "unhealthy" side of weight loss before and I honestly do not feel as if I am there now, nor do I ever intend to be again! And @meli1028 - I have no idea what a WOE is. Lol.
