Sodium was high. I was dehydrated. BP was 156/98, stage 1 alert, right out of my Algebra class. I was also 168lbs. Since using this site to track sodium in products, I'm lost 5lbs. I overloaded on carbs from fruit yesterday. I ate 3 servings that put me at 145g.
I keep a written jounral. My oatmeal has no dairy in it. 1 Tbsp. each diced green apple, raisins and walnuts, 2oz added organic apple juice (no added sugars) and 1/2 C rolled oats boiled in water. I also had one egg scrambled in nothing with some pepper on it, but that was at 7 am. Oatmeal was at 10a.m I've had 39 oz of water so far today and it's not yet noon.

I now practice not eating a thing 3 hours before bed and don't anything for another 9 hours after that. It's like having a 12 hour fast. I drink 10 oz water upon waking up. Who'd have thought that I'd lose 5 lbs in a week without trying. The good thing is, my blood pressure is around 121/72 on a daily basis.

Dehydration is a common issue with those who have too much weight. Water is the most important thing to include, 1/2-1oz of water per pound of weight you carry. I get it now. I'm determined.
