If you can find them, they sell bamboo shoots cut in strips like noodles! It gives you the al dente texture of noodles, with less than 2 carbs per cup. Look for cans of Aroy-d or Sun Luck brands.

Looks like Miracle Noodles (shirataki noodles) made from konjac yam. Next to no carbs! 👍

I'm in Canada so can't tell u where I can get there. Amazon for sure. I used to find them at certain grocery stores but some don't carry now. Any Asian grocery store will have them and Walmart in US may very well have them as well. Just do a google search for miracle or shirataki noodles.

Thanks Indigo, I did the google but only found online shops. So what department would I find them, I looked but maybe overlooked them in Walmart

Safeway carries a similar item, Zero-carb Shiataki mushroom noodles in the produce section. At my store they keep them with the Tofu and Wonton wrappers.

Nasoya Pasta Zero Shirataki Spaghetti, just make sure you get as much water out of them as possible by heating them in a dry skillet, so they soak up the sauce you use. I love it with Alfredo sauce & Turkey sausage.
