haven't had dates in a while. I usually go for prunes (5=100cal) or maybe figs.

Cant do them anymore since I am doing Keto - but you can, so try them with peanut or almond butter or wrap them in bacon..... OMG!

They have lots of fiber too. Careful tho. Eat more than a few and diarrhea.

I love combing dates with roasted almonds, no salt. The crunch and sweetness go well together. Roast your own almonds! Much cheaper

Or stuffed with cream cheese and topped with a pecan half. Used to buy branches of fresh dates and let them ripen on the counter. Heaven! Now, keto ... a different pleasure entirely.

Wrap in bacon, bake until the bacon is crisp, drizzle with balsamic glaze - oh wait, that's not keto :( yeah but it's delicious :)

859klm prunes are not my favorite, I lack sweetness in them, as to the figs - yummy, but I had too many last month 😅😅 need a brake

T8U9, I am not much familiar with keto diets, but usually diets allow you to have a “day off” and have something forbidden;)

Keto diet is focused on maintaining fat burning, requires several weeks to adapt. Taking "off" blows that and it takes several days to a week to gar back. Fortunately it's a very satisfying way to eat!
Yes, seriously, bacon wrapped dates. I had them in a restaurant last summer.
