heyy!!! in florida, having an awesome time!!! however, the temptations are every where!! last night my friends ate pizza and caramel covered apples-- but i resisted!!! however, i did eat a lot of meat last night. I know it is sooo fatty, does anyone know if that will slow down my weight loss?? should i stick to chicken and avoid red meat?? also, ive been having a bit too many nuts because its an easy snack and a good way to resist eating other garbage, will that affect my weight loss?? other than that, i think im doing pretty well especially considering all of the junk food ive been turning down.

nice graph...boiled eggs...no yolks, are way less fat than nuts...celery, beet, carrott juice, wheat grass...look for a juice bar, and lean toward the greens!

I think your doing just fine. You can eat all the meat you want, it has 0 carbs. Nuts should be used in moderation but is a good choice for snacking. Just read the label and keep track of your carb intake.

p.s. you can't have juice if your on atkins pat and carrots is a bad choice for a vegetable to eat, way to many carbs. I know, south beach is different from atkins.

If snacking on the nuts saves you from eating high carb stuff then go for it. Just don't eat too many and keep track of your carbs. Don't forget to get in your veggies too. Places that have meat ususally have salads too! Enjoy your trip and keep your resolve!
