The scale note moving. I cant help it to weigh every day. I must do this ! Any advise. I'm trying to reverse my insulin resistance. I have been trying not to eat more than 20g carbs a day. Should I maybe increase it to 40g or what should I do, I have been more active even running on the tread mill ..... Ok ok only for 10 minutes but still remember I use to sit on the couch .

When will I see result , for the last 13 days I have lost 0.5kg I think . For some one as over weigh as I , I think something is wrong. I at least must be able to lose 1kg a week

I know it is difficult. you just want to see the numbers on the scale, I was also on Herbalife and it worked for me - I lost around 12kg in the 3 months that I was on it - maybe you should rather take your measurements - I lost a lot of cm with Herbalife(around 108cm) and the scale moved slowly for me aswell - dont weigh yourself to much as this discourage a person if the hard work is not showing on the scale - hope this helps - I know you will succeed...

How much water do you drink in a day? How many calories do u eat in a day? What time in the day do you weigh yourself? Trying to lose 1kg a week is almost impossible for many people. We will try helping you with our knowledge and experience :)

i try and eat under a 1000 cal a day. I weigh myself every morning before breakfast. Its only since Monday I have been trying to drink more water. I average about 1.5l a day but today I have increased to 3 l to see if it will help. I have notice slight water retention in my legs since i started with exercising. can that be it

Hi I just went to check out your meal plan if that is exactly what u ate then I dont see a problem - the only thing it might be is that because you eat below 1000 calories a day - your body is in starvation mode. Try to eat a bit more and more often like every 2-3 hours but only small portions - hope this help

Women in general should not eat less than 1200 calories a day otherwise your body goes into starvation mode like Carike is saying. I find if I keep my calories clean and eat around 1200 I loose anything between 0.5-1 kg a week. Water is very important I have heard that you need between 2 and 3 L of water a day I also struggle with the water most days.

Starvation mode can only happen if you dont consume foods for a number of days. As long as your body has body fat, your body will feed off that fat for energy and not starve. Many of us follow a fasting lifestyle where we go for around 40 hours without consuming food and we have achieved fat loss and muscle gains with this. Water is the key ingredient to fat loss. Some people have bodies that work better if you do a fast day of about 500 calories max followed by a day of 80% of your RDI. This helps take advantage of thermogenesis where your body burns energy to digest food. Eating too little everyday can cause slower rate of weight loss BUT you must also keep in mind that weight loss is not the same as fat loss. You can also get heavier on the scale but get slimmer at the same time so don't always judge your progress by the scale alone. There's lots of things to try out to find what works for you so take your time, learn and never give up :)

I just had a look at your Food Diary. I can't believe that your RDI is only 800 calories. What is your age, gender, height and weight? Try moving your breakfast food to after midday. In other words, don't eat breakfast. Let your body feed off its body fat in the morning. Just have liquids in the morning like green tea, water, coffee/tea(minimal milk and use a sweetener or 0 sugar). When u eat breakfast your body starts burning that food for fuel but when u skip breakfast you force your body to burn fat for fuel.

Hey. Give yourself time. The same way you don't see a paper towel roll decrease in size immediately is the same way fat will leave your body. Give yourself weeks at a time. Weigh in every three week and I promise if you keep working and eating right, you'll see the difference.

Your daily calories are way too low. You are essentially crash dieting. Not wise for continual long term fat loss. It's not sustainable plus you are wreaking havoc on your hormonal balance.

Hang in there. The scale only move for me after 6 weeks of clean eating and working out 5 days a week. It will eventually move

Weighing urself everyday is futile. You should aim to do so at the end of every week. Keeping a gridlock on ur calorie intake is vital. Allow one cheat day in the week to enable u to get through the rest of the week. Try and keep the serving moderate otherwise u lose the plot! Good luck

If you dont weigh everyday and keep a journal of that weight, you wont ever be able to detemine your average weight for the week. This is important because your weight will naturally fluctuate from day to day. Comparing your average weight for the week with the average weight of the week before is the best way to assess your progress and make sure your diet is actually working. If your average weight over two weeks don't drop by at least 400g, you are doing something wrong. The daily fluctuation in weight is especially severe in women making it even more important to use averages and not just a specific day's weight.

I see alot of people say you must drink 2 -3 L of water a day and I must be honest I never drink more than 1 litre a day (I hate water lol) and it has worked for me. I would suggest up your water intake if possible and try it out. Your body might just need more water to flush the toxins out. Try it for 2 weeks and see if it makes a difference but also increase your daily calories to 1200 calories and do 2 non consecutive days a week of only 500 calories only. I have sent you a message, check you inbox.
