I wish I knew how many calories I burnt yesterday; I sawed a desk in half with a hand saw, moved a double bed with full mattress and covers and pillows across the room... twice. I moved the "light" side of the chopped desk (2'W x 3.5'L x 3'T solid wood) down two flights of stairs, by myself. Then moved the heavy side (same dimensions, only this has a solid backing and shelf) across the room, around the bed, without scratching the floor. All the while moving the other bits of furniture around, periodically vacuuming (esp. the sawdust), and making many, many trips up and down the two flights of stairs to jettison the rubbish and recycling.
