I am following the points and recording everything I eat and measuring the amounts. Why am I not loosing???? :( I'm averaging 1072 calories a day! Surely I dont have to go lower? help me!

The good news is that you are very close to your goal, they say the closer you are the harder it is. I didn't always believe that, but I have been stuck in the 170's for quite some time. I was only eating about 1200 calories and working out like a crazy woman. I was told by a trainer to increase my calories to about 1600 calories a day because my body was in starvation mode. So I increased (was not happy about it) and I gained a few pounds,(she said that would happen). I lost a pound (not much I know) and I am eating more. The trainer I spoke with said we should never go below 1200 calories a day. Maybe you should increase your calories a bit, just a thought! Your almost at your goal, don't give up! I can't wait until I am that close! Good Luck! Tracey

Wow increasing my calories sounds so scary! I am eating a large quantity of food. Just low calorie stuff. So I would have thought the body wouldnt go into starvation mode with me eating so often. But maybe it would??

I know it is scary, and this may not be the case for you. Hopefully you can get some more ideas about what else to try. But no matter you are very close to your goal! Good luck again!

thank you! I dropped one pound and today it showed I've GAINED it. I just totally dont get it! I used the weight watchers program before and lost 40 pounds. So I understand the program. I dont know why it isnt working this time. And it doesnt make sence to me to have to lower the calories even more. Maybe I should try adding some. i've avoided eating things to keep the points low. Maybe if I add in some lean protein.

HA! It isnt figuring them right! I calculated it myself. I'm averaging 1300 a day! So maybe if I drop it another 100 calories??

Sounds like something to try, let me know if this works for you! Just make sure you don't go under the 1200 calories a day, you don't want to be in starvation mode! Hope you see a loss next week!
