Did an "almost" cheat yesterday.
I couldn't figure out where I wanted to eat, so I went to the chinese buffet near my house.
I started out at the sushi table. Grabbed a plate, soy/wasabe..and then realized that I didn't want it THAT much.
Then I went to the soup..realized that I didn't really like their Wonton Soup.
So ended up a the entrees table. Filled up with stir-fried fresh green beans, pepper chicken, and beef & broccoli. Also ate some fresh salmon.
I'm sure that my sodium was out of control, and I probably ate some sugar in the dishes, but I'm guessing not very much.
All in all, not a bad outing.
Now..back to my water to kick this sodium/water retention.

Great self control girl. Wish I could do that. It's getting easier, but I'd prob cheat at a Chinese buffet.

LOL..well...it helps that I'm allergic and HATE avocado, and all of the sushi had avocado in it...I would have to scrape it out (which I usually do), but just that 1 added step stopped me.

Well anything that helps is good in itself. We had tacos Saturday night (I opted for taco salad) but the tortillas kept calling my name. I would have had one, but kept checking the carb count and figured if I did then I couldn't have anything good for desert. I was a good for a change. But it's still calling my name.
