AngelaTn's Journal, 06 December 2007

This week I am having a tough time. My husband is leaving for a few days. They are flying the helicopters to the port. Which makes his up coming deployment so real. Just the thought of another year alone sucks. The boys and I eat what we want and that is where all the weight comes from not to mention all the stress from worry. My faith is what keeps me strong. I can do another year. I have already struggled through 2 others so this should be piece of cake ha/ha. I am so determined to keep this weight off and to reach my goal.

Wow, you are a really strong person. I feel for you, that must be so hard. My husband once mentioned joining the military and I burst into tears and begged him not to, then got angry and said I would leave him if he did(though I wouldn't have). he never did join..I don't think I could have handled it. I have a friend in North Carolina whose husband is deployed, and she is a very devoted wife. I really am inspired by the strength of the wives and families of the soldiers. At my church we always pray for the military, but I will personally pray for you and the families of the military. I heard through the grapevine that my brother wants to join the Navy Seals. I will support him if he chooses to do so, but it's such a scary thought. Stay strong. xxoo

My husband left last week for his deployment so I understand what you're going through. You've done this before and survived, you'll do it again. It's not so bad, its the waiting part that is the hardest. You're a stong person, you'll get through it. I'm here if you need me, I know how you feel!

I dread deployments too. I am here for you if you need me. I will be so glad when everyone comes home for good! I am so proud of what these brave men and women sacrifice and I pray they all come home safe and soon.
